Sherman Carmichael began working in the entertainment industry in 1980 when he started managing musicians and singers.
They had one privately released record.
In 1982 Carmichael began a career in photography, working with several local newspapers. In 1991 Carmichael opened a
photography studio. Many of Carmichael's photos have been published in regional, national and international magazines. In
2004 Carmichael closed the studio but continued doing actors headshots. See print work for list of magazines
In 1985 Carmichael opened a model agency, The South Carolina Glamour Girls and Carolina Models. The South Carolina Glamour
Girls were used primarily for fashion shows. Carolina Models were used for all types of modeling assignments.
In Oct 1997 actors were added to the agency thus creating Carmichael Models And Talent. In 1998 the modeling dept was
closed leaving Carmichael Talent.
Actors represented by Carmichael Talent have been cast in many film and television projects.
